Natrupenn

Wondering what it means? Well, its "mattuuponn"!! i would like to thank my father in law for the  elaborate explanation he gave me.  The real word is "Matrupenn or Natrupenn".
No girl escapes the wrath of marriage and wedding. It is definitely a good thing to happen to any girl rather woman. Gone are the days where the mamiyars(mother in laws) used to harass and torture the young brides. The relationship between the two is good today .Touchwood!!! Thats mainly because life has changed and people are coming out of their shells (the culture and tradition line is however not crossed or exceeded).

Coming to the meaning of the word "Natrupenn",the young girl born in a family is adopted  and rooted into the groom's family. Its like removing a plant and planting it in an other place. She there after becomes the daughter (in law) of her husband's clan.

Well, young ladies  on the threshold of getting married. Fear not for  things have changed rather people have changed:)
